If you decide to migrate categories, the migration assistant appears.

The following points are important so that you can make the right decision when migrating:

Every time you make a change to a class's facts, a new version is created. The current version is displayed in the Facts configuration at the top left.
With each new save, you decide whether you want to apply the changes to existing documents or not
The more often you decide not to apply the changes to old documents, the more different version statuses arise.

In the migration assistant you can now select up to which older version you want to apply the changes to the existing documents.

Example

The example in the video is a lawsuit with version 12.

A new version 13 is now being created.

If you now select version 12 in the migration assistant, all documents that are currently on version 12 will be migrated to version 13 - the only change will be the adjustment of the "Lawsuit" field type.

If you select "Version 11" instead, the changes that happened between version 11 and version 12 will also be applied (and thus all documents will be upgraded to version 13).

Such a migration can lead to changes to the already saved facts in the documents:

If you want to migrate all versions, you can either click on the oldest version in the wizard, or alternatively simply press the Migrate all versions button (long press button).
