Create new deadlines

Click on the " + " next to the deadlines.
Mark the corresponding text passage in the document for the deadline.
After you have marked the relevant passage of text, you can start recording the data about the deadline:
- Deadline type
  - Select the predefined deadline types from the “Deadline type” drop-down.
  - The end of the deadline is automatically calculated based on the selected deadline type.
- Start of deadline
  - The start of the deadline always corresponds to the date of receipt of the selected document. Moving the start of the deadline is only possible in the future. To do this, use the calendar icon on the right edge of the line.
- Content reference document
  - From the drop-down, select the relevant document to which the reply letter refers.
- Deadline duration
  - The duration of the deadline is automatically calculated based on the type of deadline selected. You can adjust these manually using the filter buttons 1 W (One Week), 2 W (Two Weeks) and 1 M (One Month).
- Deadline
  - If necessary, the end of the deadline predefined by the system based on the deadline type can also be overwritten using the calendar icon on the right edge of the line.
- advance notice
  - For the system, the early deadline is one week before each deadline and emergency deadline.
  - The desired date can also be selected manually using the calendar icon.
- Emergency deadline
  - Basically, this is already stored in the administration interface.
  - To manually declare a deadline as an emergency deadline, you can use the check box accordingly.
- Deadline extended
  - If the deadline has already been extended, you can enter how often the specific deadline has already been extended.
- note
  - A text field is available for individual keywords related to the deadline.
- Deadline responsible
  - You can use the drop-down to select the users you created in the admin area.
- status
  - The deadline status cannot be changed when the deadline is entered for the first time. The status is set as "open".
- Completion and saving
  - The process is completed using the Create new button.

Edit existing deadlines

Deadline entries are displayed in the right sidebar of the “Enter file data” action. If you hover your mouse over an entry, you will be presented with a pen, check mark and a cross button. Click the edit pen to edit a deadline.
You can now change and update all information in the ActionPanel that opens. The adjustments are applied to the file by clicking on the cross button at the top right.
You mark a deadline as “met” by clicking on the check mark icon.
You mark a deadline as "lapsed" by clicking on the cross button.

Delete deadlines

Hover over an existing deadline entry with the mouse and select editing with the pen. At the top left of the sidebar that opens, click on the trash can button. The deadline will now be deleted and removed from the file.
